Hawaii Beckons: 28" x 33"

$1,450.00

My family and I have been fortunate enough to have taken long, scenic car trips across our vast, beautiful nation. As a result, we’ve visited every state in the U.S., with the exception of Alaska and Hawaii since a car ride to either one would be either impractical or impossible.

I’ve always dreamt of visiting Kauai, however, and hope to do so very soon. Until then, creating this floral lei fashioned out of vibrant cotton fabrics is a good reminder of what I hope to be our next travel destination. After all, as Hawaiians wisely say, “Oi kau ka lau, e hana i ola honua,” meaning live your life while the sun is still shining: the island version of “carpe diem.”

This framed raw edge fabric collage measures 28” x 33”. It’s mounted in a black wooden frame with a white 2” border and UV protective glass.
