No matter what type of art I set out to create lately, whimsy always seems to win out in the end. My guess is that my mind is looking for an escape from the real world we’re living in and, like the legendary band, it refuses to yield.
What a fanciful addition this fabric collage would be to any young child's room. I can just imagine the stories I would have spun about it when I was a girl replete with magical fragrant flowers and fallen cardinal feathers that, once picked up, would send its new owner soaring over the hills.
