What's up, Doc?: 13" x 34"
Why a carrot?
Why not?
I was intrigued with playing with unique collage dimensions. The longer and thinner, the better. For some reason, the vision of a carrot kept popping into my mind despite my best attempts to block it out. So, I eventually stopped ignoring it, and just went with it. Bugs Bunny is glad I listened and I’m glad I listened. I love this piece in all of its muddy, quirky glory.
Don’t be shocked if my next piece is a prolific zucchini vine that stretches 7 miles east to west. You know how those squash thrive on ignoring personal boundaries.
Raw edge fabric collage mounted in a black wooden frame with a 2” white mat, covered with museum quality glass to protect from UV rays as well as reduce reflection.
Framed size: 13” x 34”
“Do you carrot all for me?
My heart beets for you,
With your turnip nose,
And your radish face,
You are a peach.
If we cantaloupe,
Lettuce marry:
Weed make a swell pear.”
