Ukrainian Sunflower: 17" x 22"
One Friday afternoon in late February 2022, I sent a note to a seller on Etsy asking about one of her products.
Her response? "sorry, I'll answer later, maybe tomorrow. if we are alive. we have a war, an air alert. Kyiv, Ukraine."
Her reality hit me so hard that I flat out began sobbing. This quilt is for her and for all Ukrainians who are suffering horrors we can only imagine. Their bravery and perseverance in the face of adversity, to this day, is simply astounding.
